As somebody who witnessed the whole Microsoft "Helloween Documents" leak at the time I can assure you all kind of psyops are being pulled inside the more or less completely naive FOSS community. The observed practices outlined in

Still, higher bitrates can give you valuable information of the noise spectrum of your recording chain. This can potentially be useful in post processing. It also gets rid of the need for a dithering step before certain effect chains.

Sometimes encoding time doesn't matter. Archiving is done once in a lifetime. I encode everything with "--lax -8Vepl32" which takes ages but since it runs as a low priority background task I don't care. Also, you can use

Who is expecting Wayland support besides Redhat and Collabora? And yes, talking to Wayland directly is extremely cumbersome and unnecessary complex. That's why nobody uses it.

It's great that this Browser is now independently developed from Serenity OS. But I'm not a huge fan of the QT dependency. You might as well use Qt WebEngine Widgets at this point.

A more interesting candidate for the ESP32 would be Inferno OS. It's a Desktop OS which doesn't require a MMU and needs about 1MB RAM on startup. As a bonus you get all the benefits of plan 9.

Those are all made up narratives by random media outlets. From the beginning there was only one true narrative: "Abolish central banks". Because they are at the core designed to enslave humanity. That is why Bitcoin is created. It

The "everything bubble" which also affected crpyto was created by central banks with the various QE programs and the relentless money printing. Don't blame crypto for creating a bubble.

The volatility is generated by the central banks. They were printing money like there is no tomorrow since 2008. Now they are destroying it again with interest rate hikes and balance sheet reduction.
