I’m sure we’ll see a lot of this soon with the US presidential election.

What’s the chance that some of these comments are AI bots? Genuine question. When will OpenAI create an AI PR team?

I suspect we all will have a tough time as I read about Duolingo layoffs while pivoting to AI, Amazon flooded with shitty AI books, autonomous drones, predictions of animators having three years left on the job market and so on. I can’t wai

Youtube is becoming flooded with influencers showing you how to do it and promising massive imaginary profits. Same for AI generated Etsy designs, copywriting gigs, and various other things.

You’re talking about metaphysics. Epistemology will be one of the most important issues with AI. And let’s not ignore ethics. You seem to speak as someone who hasn’t read any philosophy. Einstein, Bohr, Oppenheimer, and plenty of other phys

Sex and skin color most definitely influence unique experience (not exclusively of course). I guess you didn’t catch this in your readings of Shakespeare.

That isn’t an argument to stop producing them. It’s an argument for letting time pass to determine which remain relevant.

The same can be said for most code. It isn’t improving quality of life for most people. Like I really need another todo app. Let all the programmers live on scraps. It’s a primal drive for them. /s

This reminds me of my uncle who can quote Shakespeare verbatim and seems to have a photographic memory, but he cannot comprehend Windows' desktop and how to use virtual folders and files.

I had a guy try this recently while I was chatting with a friend in a dark speakeasy at 7pm. He sits down right next to us, opens his laptop at full brightness, and starts working in Excel. He even has the audacity to look over his receipts

The only coworking space I use and love, which is still around and nearly as old as WeWork, is a 'mom-a-pop' one in Brooklyn that never franchised and is used by owners as their office. It has a decent community, including people

I beat it on my own as a kid, but it required extensive note-taking, anger, and a week worth of trial and error. It still feels like one of my greatest achievements. I'm glad I stuck with it. Nowadays, I would never sacrifice so much t
