   I also like AirVPN, and ExpressVPN - I'd choose between them based on the location of servers and which client software you prefer.

    Right. The community part - which is still alive and well in its rebranded form as LineageOS - was doing the most important work anyway (or, even if that's a loaded statement, the community part was extremely productive and still is).

    Apple's file systems HAVE had some serious bugs, as you probably know. I haven't noticed that they've been getting all that much press. What press they've been getting is very negative, though, and quite right too.
