I realize it's easy to think or assume this is a bug affecting everyone but for what it's worth, I've had zero issues importing photos from my Sony a6000 and a7iii for the past eight or so years. Tens of thousands of photos a

Not sure if that's a typo. 5 years ago was also pretty LC-heavy. Ten years ago it was more based on Cracking the Coding Interview. So i'd guess what you're referring to is even older than that.

In this case it's relatively simple things like figuring out the correct ffmpeg command to pull frames from a video, which is then documented in the CLAUDE file. Granted, I don't understand the underpinnings of LLMs but I would&#x

I'm not sure how saying it won't even run CLI commands has anything to do with my ability to code with or without it.

the strap is probably more for Asian markets. for instance whenever I go to Japan I see a lot of people still use straps (it's been a thing for years now). But here in California it's pretty rare to see slings used like that.

For the past two to three weeks I've noticed Claude just consistently lagging or potentially even being throttled for pretty minor coding or CLI tasks. It'll basically stop showing any progress for at least a couple minutes. Somet

I fail to see the difference between this and many other normal parts of life. Want to renovate and change your home that you own? You need permitting and not all changes are allowed. But you own the home and land so why do you need permitt

if i could just get claude to properly remember it can directly edit the xcode project file, that'd be great. for whatever reason it ignores my directive that it can from the CLAUDE file at least half the time. one time it even decided

Would you consider having a way to export work done in this app to be included as part of regular Xcode projects? I've been working on a project and sometimes when I'm away from my laptop I have ideas I want to try in SwiftUI but

Maybe this paired with something like App Clips? I don't see them used much these days but could make them more useful.

is github's PR considered read-only? i've had team members edit a correction as a "suggestion" comment and i can approve it to be added as a commit on my branch.

Yeah, the extreme basics seems to be the trend. We've actually had a lot of trouble due to this exact problem with one particular vendor now. Even repeated requests to improve their documentation are completely ignored or laughed off.

honestly i don't see this as Apple-specific but more of a sign of the times. i've seen a few libraries and vendor platforms we use at work with the same style of documentation (really lack thereof).
