That sucks. Back in 2021 I moved and decided to get new equipment myself instead of renting. It all was plug and play. Even now when I get an occasional outage they can do the reset for me through their mobile app. No issues.

Personally I haven't had this problem. In fact, every few months they actually increase my plan's advertised max download speed. I wouldn't say the actual download speed is as close as what they say but pretty close. Of cours

I believe others have definitely reached out to the owner previously just for help with the performance/reliability problems. Not 100% sure on whether they've offered to buy the site or not. Either way everything I've heard i

I don't really like making assumptions honestly. My best guess is that the model of car is "older" now, and they've subsequently moved onto other interests, including possibly the newer model, which I heard (but can'

I'd assume it'd be best legally and linking would probably work. But it wouldn't be as discoverable. Relying on sharing links only would work if everyone's connected but unfortunately that's not usually the case. Es

Thanks for the links and info. Totally fair on my not sharing those in my original post. I was coming at it thinking in terms of still making it useful to others. WARC seems like a good first step. I'm just not sure what the intermedia

Unfortunately the owner doesn't make themselves available to be contacted for anything at this point. They were more involved years ago. As far as who owns the data, everything mentioned above is community-owned at least. So if anythin

You can buy a similar (not sure how similar) pasta at Trader Joe's. I believe it's a 12oz box like standard pasta boxes.

I'm frequently nearby the Apple Infinity Loop. A couple years ago I constantly saw the Apple Lexus cars with the radar (?) and other equipment driving around the neighborhood every day. These days I very rarely see them. Maybe once or

My apartment uses Latch deadlocks. From what I've read the model _should_ support an NFC key, which of course we don't get. I'd love to figure out if I could do it myself. Ideally I'd be able to use my iPhone that way au

Wasn't that design partly because early iOS was driven by "skeuomorphic design"? So thinking in terms of that "YouTube" would remind people of "the tubes" AKA usually another word to describe a TV. I'

I live in the Bay Area in a pretty commonly known city. Frequently the product listing on Amazon says eligible for 2-day or 1-day Prime Delivery. Many times despite doing that it takes 3-4 days or longer.

That's hardly a qualifier, because I work in big tech and I know many people who'd love to RTO at least in a hybrid capacity.

FWIW, I've noticed now that both Walmart and Target online stores have their own version of third-party sellers. I don't know if they do the same as Amazon (combining inventory in fulfillment centers) but just something to be awar

Yeah the one I mentioned as an example is "loose" in that it's an autox style cone course but there's no timers or rules or anything other than like not ruining the course. You pay $80 or whatever and get to do as many r

I'd recommend a loose autox day. Basically a car handling clinic on a course with no real rules except to run the course as many times as you like for the day at various speeds and such. Great way to learn how much grip your tires have

Many decent cases are relatively thin and don't add more than a few millimeters in my experience. It's only when you start getting into stuff like Otterboxes or similar that cases have a very chunky factor.
