Are you talking about absolute vote count, or margin of victory? Obama's margin of victory in the electoral college was much greater in 2008 and 2012 vs. Biden's. Obama's popular vote margin was greater in 2008 and roughly eq

That's also true for English Sheppards; they are bred for temperament, not conformance to appearance rules. So they don't all look identical, but they are great companions (and good at herding).

My copy is falling apart, but I remember it got me interested in geodesic domes. In 7th grade I built an 18' diameter by 9' high dome in my parents' front yard. Some strong winds destroyed it though, after I had skinned part

The group https://grassrootshealth.org sells an inexpensive at-home test kit for D3 serum levels. IIRC it includes two tests so that you can make changes if needed then check to see how much they helped, and back off on suppleme

It seems this falls into the category of: Company has idea, investigates it, decides not to go ahead for the time being. Big deal. This is what all businesses do all the time. They task some employees to come up with a plan or to research a

Good points. But, there must be a way to test batteries in an automated way at the replacement station and presumably take them out of service. And, like gasoline distribution, a way to inspect and certify the workings of a replacement stat

For cars, you would want to automate the swap anyway, so you'd presumably have handling equipment to swap and move batteries between the remove-recharge-store-install steps. I don't think you'd want to use humans in that appl

Also not sure why declining population is a problem. The sheer number of human beings on the planet, however, is the root cause of many problems, climate change, habitat loss, water shortages, on and on. When I imagine less traffic, less ai
