The Design Template -> I don't have an issue with it per se, but it just frustrates me. If you've seen Donny Darko, the love/fear scene ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q38N9QvsdzU ) pretty much is how I feel about the design template.

The Windows 386 is by far the best promo I've ever seen. It easily takes the cake for being the most awesome.

For the love of god, please don't start out with How To Design Programs. Learn Scheme and Java. Use SICP for scheme, that will make you think like a programmer. Then you can learn Java using HeadFirst Java. That way you'll have a "normal" l

I think Math for Dancers would be an interesting class to take, even if you're majoring in a hard science/math. Not all people think with only their brain, some people need their body to think. It'd be interesting to see how that actually w

This is really bad news for me. I'm working on starting up a magazine, so I guess I'll be able to learn from everything that went down at JPG magazine. Maybe refine my business model a bit.

Why not both? Condoms are good most of the time, but in order to have 100% foolproof safety one would have to not have sex at all. Redundant forms of birth control add more 9s to the end of 99.9, but there's still that possibility that one

I'm planning on starting a "chain" of either charter or cost-free/cost-very-little schools. These schools would be high schools, but they'd be for geeks/nerds/people who actually want to learn. Needless to say, I'm still in the very early s
