You can use an Apple ID but it’s optional and it’s not tied to the user account unlike windows. A Mac OS user is basically like creating a user account on a Linux machine!

I don’t think hallucinations and having a “minds eye” are the same thing. A minds eye is different in the sense that it’s entirely separate from the “visual feed” you get from your eyes, they’re not combined so you can’t really mistake them
