- more_corn 2y agoWell at least you also missed the dump part.
- fragmede 2y agoRight. it's easy to see the upside and think you missed out, but you also gotta realize you could've been the counterparty to the action going on. never invest from a place of fomo.
- mmh0000 2y agoI believe you haven't missed anything. The research on GME going up by thousands of dollars is compelling. You can wade through the cesspool that is the r/GME subreddit and read it all. I've come away believing the apes are right. As of now, GME has 2 billion USD cash on hand. They wouldn't go bankrupt for over 350 months even if they didn't make a single penny. And they are making pennies! Lots of them! And they're making smart moves to make more pennies. Throw a "little" (what you're happy with losing) money at GME, and don't touch it.
- speedylight 2y agoThis is a good way of looking at it, thank you. I’ll probably put a few hundred dollars in it to test the waters!
- dinobones 2y agoOkay you've convinced me, I'm putting my entire life savings into this thing.
- reducesuffering 2y agoDuring this entire GME scam stock saga, the company has lost over $1b, is still not a profitable company, and has no foreseeable future being a profitable company selling physical game copies in a digital world. Their stores are closing left and right. If you've never looked at their balance sheet and don't even know how to read a balance sheet, then you don't know what you're doing. The fundamentals are garbage and your only hope is to be in the pump rather than the dump. Good luck playing wheel of money.
- vmladenov 2y agoThere is a world in which EU digital markets regulations force platform holders to sell (far more than they do now) codes for digital games through GameStop and they become an online-only retailer.
