This study focuses on big corporations. I wonder how these findings would hold to small companies - let's say, that a company grow from 5 to a 100 employees. Management-layers and meetings would certainly bog down productivity, but as much

Hasn't the writer heard of Justin Bieber? Who does he think his 6 million followers are? I actually think Bieber might be a big reason why more and more teenagers ARE starting to tweet. I recently did interviews with High School kids and wa

I e-mailed Steve Ballmer with this brilliant idea and got a response. Hope he'll get on it. https://skitch.com/danielspronk/rrc2s/inbox-14307-messages

Japanese is a language with three alphabets, theres not much room for comparison when talking about All Caps. These three alphabets can all be used in the same sentence. Readability for Japanese is a whole different science. They have their

How can Google get away with this? The "Landing page" is basically just an image that you can click on that redirects you to google.com.hk. So, in effect, the only change made is that you must _click_ on the page to go to google.com.hk inst

How do you get it to load the HD versions? I'm seeing 720p and 1080p versions on my Mac but looking at the quality of the video on my iPad it looks like it streams the 360p version.

I bought books on the iPad, but used the Kindle app for it. I find the iPad surprisingly good for reading. (I don't own a Kindle)

That was a good read. I haven't heard many positive things about Facebooks new plans but I like the new features (ie. instant personalization). If this can make my experience of websites more interesting and relevant I'm all for it. But lik

To be honest, I didn't know what to think of SEC suing Goldman Sachs, and if it really would matter. But his analysis gives some hope^: * Goldman Sachs has entrenched their position and tied their fate to Mr. Tourre's. If Tourre goes down t

I like the ad model. Only relevant tweets will make it in this environment, which ensures we won't be seeing too much spam I would think. I wonder if a Google Adwords kind of text link in the sidebar would work for on the search page, I bet

Oh it definitely is! The reason why food preserves so well in the States is because of all the additives. Most US food if prepackaged and processed, its' all about hassle-free eating. Preserves well, easy to prepare, looks good etc. All the

I don't see this happening in Europe, not in the near future. Consumers are waking up, here in the Netherlands it's become easier to opt out of all kinds of marketing. And the Dutch are crazy for it. The moment these opt-out services came o

I've just started watching Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution series on ABC and it's quite shocking to see so much prepackaged/processed foods. This trend is happening everywhere, but nowhere as much as the States. I really hope movies like Foo

The browsing experience will be more of a core thing for the Tablet than for the iPhone. One reason for this is that I expect the Tablet will replace the low-end MacBooks and will need to offer great e-mail and browsing experience. (Alas) t

We've just quit the sodas perk, replaced them with fruit and we took time to explain why. While we didn't get high fives for the changing policy, now two three months later we're hearing, "gee, thanks, this is a great idea".

Great, with Apple, Mozilla and now Google innovating in the browser sphere, it looks like browser will be evolving at a much more rapid pace. Gah, let's hope Microsoft gets some vision for IE too. (or ditch it like Bing ditched Live)
