In my experience the biggest drawback with EFS is startup time for systems that mount it in. For example a container or EC2 instance might only need a tiny bit of your storage and with s3 can just download what it needs when it needs it. As

I'm not so sure. When is the last time apple came out something groundbreaking? Has there been anything since Tim Cook took over? Siri is still extremely basic and barely usable for anything besides starting a kitchen timer.

AWS workmail or Google workspace are both great. Workmail has a better management interface for the admin whereas Google has a better user UI (at least for the webapp).
