I have done a lot of experimenting with Brython and like you, I would expect it to be more popular. Pierre (the author and primary maintainer) is amazing but something holds it back from large scale adoption. I can only list my reasons for

In the UK the government runs the booking of driving tests from a central online system. Because of Covid, and because the test has a 50% pass rate at best, there is now a lot of pressure on this system. People wanting a test are getting te

But it's bad advice compared to a random selection because these are all numbers with meaning for people. Many people who enter lotteries use meaningful numbers such as days of birth. So 1 2 3 4 5 6 is just as likely as any set of numb

This is a central tenet of the Lean Startup by Eric Ries and the Startup Owners Manual by Steve Blank et al. Lean Startup is the faster read but if I recall correctly Steve Blank was Ries' mentor/inspiration.

I don't agree that our understanding of ideas improves with time. For example, do we understand the teachings of Jesus better today than someone who heard them first hand? I would argue no, because we don't have anywhere near th

Can you explain that further? I'm interested in the idea that our understanding of an idea like Marxism can improve the further away we are in time from it. That seems counter-intuitive.

The original poster says, "I want to make money". OK, if they were handed $1B what would they do with it? What do they really want? Physical security? Financial security? Political influence? Love? Hedonism? Existential meaning?

Might be worth stepping back and thinking about why you want to make money. Money is a store of opportunity but useless in itself. If you were to be shipwrecked with no hope of rescue would you rather be washed up with a cargo container of
