The workers did, the people with money welcomed him with open arms hoping for less regulation and big contracts. Look in the row behind trump during his inauguration if you need proof.

If you think layoffs were bad the last few years then just wait until the costs for all the ai hardware, massively overpriced talent, and acquisitions hit the books for these companies. It's going to be a bloodbath.

Best mp3 player I ever had was the SanDisk sansa clip. Just loaded music off an ad card and weight almost nothing. Worked great.

If you were wondering like me how this dude was making so much working for a public railroad, this was (maybe) his job: (1). Chief Engineering and Project Delivery, making $209,903.00 - $314,855.00. I'm just basing this on the fact tha

This isn't at all a rebuttal of the post, more a different perspective. I started a new job while basically deeply depressed. It colored all my opinions of the company and my coworkers. As I'm coming out of that through a combinat

Maybe something less extreme like a skirt that sits around the wheels and track and traps the hot air off the brakes. The regenerative braking mentioned in the article makes this easier as you can dispute the heat anywhere in the train you

That... Is a hilarious and good point. You could seal the stations like they do on the Elizabeth line but it's still a stupid idea. I just got back from London actually and am still incredibly jet lagged, for which I blame my suggesti

In a pretty remarkable statement a month or so ago Trump actually said we were overspending on the military and suggested cuts. Then his budget comes out and proposes military expansion and Medicare cuts so like usual he was just bullshitti

What if trains brought their heat with them instead of leaving it in the tunnels? I'm thinking some kind of large seal like thing in front of and behind trains that keeps the train surrounded by the same air. Stations serve as a spot t

This is just for the bash case, but I was under the impression that shells cache and hash the binaries they find in the path to avoid doing these lookups. Surprised by the need for strace showing lookups.

This was pretty insane to me. Like, whatever systems you're claiming Biden screwed up were 100% guaranteed untouched since the last trump admin. IT in the government moves slooooooow.
