So? Risk it. Make a (very small) stand. We're talking companies that are almost monopolies or at the very least duopolies.

I always hear this but I've never found this. The couple of times a year I eat McDonald's I check and it's the same. There are specific deals they'll have in the app like "2 filet of fish for $7 instead of $4 each&q

Have we gotten major advancements in the last ~year? Not being facetious, genuinely asking. I don't see it from my end but then again I don't really use much more than ChatGPT a couple times a week.

There's also the symptom that almost our entire society is addicted to staring at their phones for at least 4 hours a day. Go literally ANYWHERE and just look at the people around you if you don't think so.

No I wouldn't be bothered because I actually do those things. As should anyone driving. And they're not felonies, they're cheap tickets that probably won't even add points to your license.

Ultimately I wouldn’t support this level of snitching (especially in our current political env) but I’ve had the idea of: A bounty program to submit dash cam video of egregious driving crimes. It gets reviewed, maybe even by AI initially an

I think a lot about this (bad drivers) and I’m not really sure how to fix it since I think it’s really a problem of underlying selfishness and perceived-exceptionalism mixed with overestimation of skill.

I hit Ctrl+Shift+D on dozens of tabs multiple times a day. Browser search does work pretty good tho for something like pulling that specific article I saw on the New Yorker last week or the new pizza restaurant I came across last month.

I guess they’re only commercial, right? I’ve tried to get them at every place I’ve lived in Atl and they’ve never been available. A lot of places you don’t even get to choose between Comcast/at$t - it’s one or the other.

Sounds similar to Mario Wonder as well, where basically the world map is playable with stuff to do and find. I think I see what they're going for now. Probably some collectables, stunts, hidden levels, etc.
