This comment brings me a lot of sadness and pain. I know and respect Fabrice from in person interactions. He is exactly who he claims to be. Maybe an interesting question, instead of this current line of discussion, is to find out what led

The executive summary is worth the 1-minute read. Interesting that all the malicious frameworks known (by ESET) that target air-gapped networks were for some form of espionage.

What Microsoft is losing is mindshare with their customers. It'll be a piece of cake, once their customers are angry enough, for a new tool to become popular that circumvents whatever "patch" Microsoft puts out. The emperor h

The Vulkan API does not change between Intel, AMD, NVidia and MoltenVK (iOS/macos) GPUs. What the grandparent is saying though is "that differences between AMD and nVidia GPUs are exposed." Vulkan is so low-level that your ap

The way CPU usage is measured includes time waiting for memory reads. Only a hyperthreaded core would be able to schedule a different task on such a core. For the M1 Pro, which is not hyperthreaded, if all dispatched instructions are waitin

You know, if I were able to convince a FAANG company to actually take us a step closer to a metaverse, it wouldn't be to, metaphorically, give the masses fish. It would be to teach the masses how to fish and start stocking the lakes an
