Reliance on Kinect and always online killed the Xbox One. Sure, they backpedaled but it was too late. They really messed up.

Your writing is not going to improve this way. You need at least one competent person editing and reviewing your writing. However, the idea/experiment is interesting and I may try it one day!

Good point in differentiating between optional and required activities. I definitely think it is more important for a father or mother to work reasonable hours than someone like me. I just don't like the attitude some companies have th

My point was that, at 23, I also have no time for overtime work. Not because I have kids to pick up or take care of sure, but that does not make it OK for companies to expect long hours outside of emergencies.

The grandparent post, when young and single, did not seem to have anything else to do than work. I am well aware that people with kids are busier than me. My point was that being young and single does not make it fair to your employer or an

If anyone is around or in NYC, the Whitney has a great "protest" art exhibition with this kind of stuff.

I would prefer this over the "me too!" or "here is my irrelevant/off topic opinion" comments we get all the time. Not everything has to generate 100 comments of debate.

GitLab pages but for no particular reason... I use Hugo and want HTTPS on a custom domain so that seemed to be an easy way to do it. Only problem is that GitLab does not redirect to the HTTPS version automatically. I might try Netlify some

Ha, finally someone that agrees with me. Though not everyone has quietude in their home, I dislike it when I visit a coffee shop and everyone is working or doing meetings.

I find places in which I get along with my coworkers enough to have lunch with them with no work talk to be the best I've been at. It's fun.

I had the opposite experience, but I used Chris Allen's book instead of a university course. A lot of concepts I had been using in Elixir and even JS did not click until I worked through Mr Allen's book.

I love my coworkers (not just engineering) and the projects I am working on are interesting to me. I have the right amount of ownership/freedom and mentorship someone my age (23) should have.

You are overthinking it - a balance is not hard to achieve. Go out a few days a week, learn the rest. You are most likely to get invited to go out Friday and Saturday nights, so spend weekday nights or Sunday studying. No need to go all out

If the game is part of a series or potential series, they would not delete them. If it's a one off, they definitely deleted a lot of assets. A lot of backgrounds, models, and assets from PSOne Final Fantasy games do not exist anymore,
