Is that true? Public perception of Twitter seems to be declining. Let's assume people truly are dissatisfied and are leaving the platform. Why should advertisers be expected to spend their money on something that may not pay off? If th

I think it's less game specific hacks and more just general optimization for those older APIs. There are indie OpenGL games that perform much much better on Nvidia despite having no chance of being on their radar.

In my opinion reviewing code should be a higher priority than other work. Getting existing changes reviewed, polished, and merged is better for everybody involved than creating more changes that will also need to be reviewed and potentially

I'm very skeptical of the idea that Twitter can become a place where people discuss things with civility. It seems like the mechanics of the conversation encourage outrage.

Same thing in San Diego. I feel like the popular weather services can't make accurate predictions or even tell what is happening most of the time. My iPhone will tell me it's raining when it's sunny outside.

I'm pretty sure they don't even sell that product anymore. So it's not really an ad?

I like to fantasize about moving to another country but many things hold us back. The big cut in current and future salary is definitely a part of it.

I wonder if you're right. What do you think the risks of disclosure are for those towards the right of the distribution?

This is very bold. I always post my salary anonymously but I'm afraid that acquaintances/coworkers will resent me if I do something like this.

Why buy a Mac if you're just going to immediately downgrade? Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine that outdated versions of MacOS will remain for productive for very long. I also find it odd that many Mac users in this thread

I find the bad news angle weird too. If our home were to lose half of it's value it wouldn't really change anything except our ability to move in the near future. That's assuming I keep my job during this time of course.

Which browser are you using? WebGL2 should be perfectly safe. The tab crashed for me once but Firefox just reloaded it without a hitch.

I don't know which framework they're using, if any, but this is WebGL2. You can write fairly modern OpenGL code and run it in the browser. :)

There have been plenty of major performance improvements for Ruby but most of them require changes that just aren't feasible for a large codebase. For example, there are alternative Ruby interpreters that are far faster than the MRI bu

A lot of communist designed spaces seem quite nice. Though maybe they just have the potential to be nice like the one that you linked but a ton of them in less developed areas are falling apart from lack of maintenance.
