I like to fantasize about moving to another country but many things hold us back. The big cut in current and future salary is definitely a part of it.
- xena 4y agoI took the leap because it was easier than continuing to be in a long distance relationship. Everyone is different. It helped that I was trying to get away from my natal family anyways.
- xupybd 4y agoThings can cost less in other countries. I get a small fraction of the average US developer but have a pretty good life and we're raising our children on a single income.
