I think the problem here is not only about Google providing support or not. The problem is when they are not providing support, how they make it possible for users to solve problems themselves. If you are gonna close a user's account, eithe

Install lxc package and you have pretty much everything you need to creat Linux Containers. Check out this part: https://help.ubuntu.com/12.10/serverguide/lxc.html#lxc-admin

There are just too many ways to implement a same thing in C++. It's becoming more and more complicated. So I have a strange idea: pick only a small set of features of C++, and disable all others. Maybe call it C+. Ship it in a compiler that

Yeah it's still considered Java. While it's been working wonderfully, this still bothers me a little bit. And why not a Go version? Any chance to open the protocol so other people can work on different clients?

My `bin/server`. It prints all ip addresses binded to the machine, and tries port numbers starting from 8000 until one is available for use: #!/usr/bin/env python2.7 import commands import subprocess port=8000 while comman

I got kicked out in my fifth round. I had to sign in again to get back to registration. I guess their Google I/O session server is so congested that my token got expired...

I'm curious about the crypto part. Could anybody explain to me, if it's a HTTPS link, where does SSL encryption happen? Does Railgun listener talk with the origin server over HTTP or HTTPS? If it's HTTP, then how does CDN handle certificate

Railgun is used between CDN and http server, while this one seems to be between browser and http server. Railgun only requires website to deploy a client, and cooperate with cloudflare. User's client doesn't have to be Chrome or whatever; w

Most Apps are not as simple as a "hello world" view. My guess is that, the getting-started pack is large but when you add more things into it, it doesn't increase that much.

Thanks. That sounds pretty cool! Where does the conversion happen? Does it compile C# directly to target code, or it converts from .NET IL?

I'm curious how it integrates Mono runtime into a "native ARM executable". The whole runtime must be really big. When building the App, does it only integrates the parts required to support the App, or does it integrate all? The other quest

This might be a little off topic but I'm curious how could somebody accidentally (or why would somebody intentionally) push .bash_history to GitHub?

Looks good. So you can store oauth on server, which should be safer. Is it possible for an oauth client to "suicide" on its permission? I'm thinking, in case a third-party service is comprised, they can just ask the oauth server to abandon

+1. Push notification is the only way to notify about new emails. The trade-off is that you are gonna have to store user credentials on server. That's the reason why Sparrow didn't implement push notification.

According to golang FAQ, the origin of the name is that, “Ogle” would be a good name for a Go debugger. [1] I just came up the idea: why didn't they name the language "Goo", and leave "Gle" to the debugger? It would be more common for peo
