I would guess that people who are addicted to it or whose job depends on it are not the majority of Twitter users. I agree that even out of those groups, there are not a lot of people deleting accounts and moving to other places. But, my pe

I understand the sentiment, and I might be naive, but I really do think the restriction is due to technical reasons. It is a purposefully slow go to market plan because the engineering team is small, the tech new, and they are not ready to

That is Mastodon for me. I saw a lot of people out of my tech bubble asking about and interested in joining BlueSky. Only that no one around me have invites. I signed to the waitlist the first I saw them on HN, still nothing.

I am one of those who prefer working on existing code. I like making things better, understanding how a code works is thrill, adding new features on existing premises. I am also an amateur fiction writer, and I notice the same thing in it.

What? No, I follow people tweeting in public. I almost never tweet, but when I do it’s public as well. To be honest I don’t know what you meant on your comment. Was it a mix of tautology with true Scotsman? You have to follow outraged peopl

I still use and barely see any outrage on it. I am just selective with who I follow and stay in the feed where I mostly see tweets of who I follow. I agree with GP, it’s very easy to stay out of outrage sight.

I am 100% sure that I didn’t load 300 tweets in the official app today. I was only accessing an account where I follow 17 people. I just counted and there were 14 new tweets (RTs counted as 2 tweets) in my feed from today (the average for a

I don’t think it’s intentional. I got a “rate limit exceeded” on the official mobile app while on an account where I follow only 17 people and don’t post anything. Edit: funny that I have two profiles logged in the same app. One is working,

It doesn’t seem of minimal relevancy for the Brazilian government. I don’t see the connection at all. What’s your reasoning to consider that might be one?

I meant Up is similar to Saving Private Ryan in its structure (a long and great first scene, which is actually a positive trait of both). But, the Up is worse than SPR.

I don’t think it’s the same thing. The initial scene is a masterpiece but if you remove it, it would still be possible to understand the movie. And the tone and message of the first scene is very different from the rest. I compare (negative
