I've been looking a fair bit into these embedded checkout things recently and I gotta say that braintree is far-far inferior to Stripe in terms of offerings, usability, API, etc. There's things one would consider no-brainers for t

Awh dear this made my morning, nothing like reading quotes such as "I'm one of the best" from self-aggrandizing hasbeens :D.

I for one am really happy to see this classic getting a makeover! The author had recently tried his hand at datetime libs and api microframeworks but despite really wanting to like them I didn’t feel they were all that better than existing

Honestly as far as debugging your own skeleton goes I'd skip the 3D print part cause (1) its expensive and (2) you wanna minimise the number of steps between your skeleton and the product you use to debug. Every one of the steps introd

So CT would be the best way to get a clearer picture of your own skeleton as high-density structures like bones stand out much better (Hounsfield units and all that). Then you'd have to segment the skeletal system and do a surface-extr

Btw you may be able to get some inspiration from, or even partner with, Rome2Rio [1] for the transportation part. I interviewed with them before and while I didn't like their tech their results are pretty impressively detailed and sour

Sadly that was my point, I can think of none. The standard places like Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, etc all fall under the category of crowdsourced and highly-susceptible to advertising agendas. Sad as it is, travel is a hard category to ge

Yeah I bet its kinda tricky to separate bragging from actual info. I can see how seasoned travellers would have a good amount of knowledge on a topic but honestly I'd be more interested in current info as opposed to entirely subjective

Given the popularity of the topic I'm a little surprised that quality content independent of sponsorship has yet to surface. Quora is a big ad-fest so I wouldn't base my decisions on it. I was particularly interested in travel-rel

Perhaps the author is trying to validate the idea and ensure people care about the content. Obviously I'd like to see more so I sub'ed to the RSS feed (kudos on including that btw).

I've been looking at solutions like Slack/Zulip/Rocket.chat for a real-time customer-support/chat system where the user would chat with my team via a chat interface on the web-app while members of my team would reply via

That being said I see your point, my market wouldn't be limited to the techie type but rather people that wouldn't be able to read my code let alone verify the lack of tracking.

I guess in a way I was hoping that setting this up for oneself wouldn't be worth the 10-20$/m I would charge for access to it. Mind you this would include DBs, servers to keep the data up-to-date, GraphQL servers to serve the data

I understand that, and most services throw that "we take your privacy very seriously" bit whether that is the case or not. I was simply wondering whether open-sourcing would prove that I actually do :)

Don't get me wrong I applaud the fact that you dug through the code and let the rest of us know. People (including myself) take things at face value too much these days :).

The site seems far too fleshed out to be a joke so I have to assume it's a legitimate offering. I propose that an even-more-premium plan be offered where a person with a stick jabs the viewer on the side until the sale is made further

As far as driving goes roos are a scourge, especially when dealing with the reds which are the size of a large adult. Poor dumb things sit on the road to warm up, get mesmerised by headlights, and get hit. To date I probably see 50 dead roo
