Very cool, this is actually somewhat related to what I'm working on at topica.io - let me know once you dive into interactive transcripts / search :)

My guess is that anyone who ended up "saying something" to the CEO was either quieted by lies or forced out of the business.

You're correct, my understanding of "full audit" vs "due diligence" was off.

Uber got in Big Trouble for this a while back[0]. Basically, device fingerprinting[1]. It seems like it's sort of OK now? [0] https://the-parallax.com/2017/04/26/uber-device-fingerprinti... [1] https:&#

I disagree, I think it's statistically significant. I ran a quick z-test: p0 = 34 p1 = 45 n0 = 8004 n1 = 6622 z = -2.0924 p = 0.03662 So, the improvement is statistically significant at 95% confidence (p < 0.05) As far as practical

Depends on the cost, and depends on the benefit. What I find interesting is that many SERPs on Google don't even lead to another page anymore[0]. Still, there are plenty of niche areas where the cost/benefit still definitely makes

Migrating to backups seems possible. Garmin is pretty complex in that it produces hardware and software across a few verticals, but I don't think there's anything that makes them particularly unique in the way they'd handle b
