A dev submitted code and broke our build once, when we looked at what he submitted there appear to random syntax errors in it. On his workstation the code was correct however. We tracked it down to a switch that was corrupting packets enoug

I don't pirate, but I still don't like the idea of the content of my traffic being constantly analyzed, getting harassed with false positive notices due to software bugs, or due to legitimate sites accidentally having copy written material,

Yes, I think you're right. WA does cite the same report as its source, but appears to have different figures. Looks like for CA (before inflation adjustment in parens): 1992: $7684 ($4697), 2010: $9870 ($9375) = ~28% And NY: 1992: $12267 ($

Just doing a quick check on WA, which has the 1992-2009 figures for CA and NY: CA spending per pupil in 1992 was $5380, and in 2009 was $11652. http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=compare+ca+spending+per... Adjusted for inflation is $82

I've found Parallels (7) to be unstable, and I didn't appreciate how it installed crap all over the place with no easy uninstall. Fusion may not be quite as fast, but it is a more robust and professional product. My 2c.

I tried to overlay an SVG logo over a photo background (jpg). While it more or less worked after futzing, it was a responsive website and re-sizing the screen caused the SVG to not stay aligned with the background jpg. It doesn't appear to

I really liked his comment about Stanford students not getting much out of him, that they're already very brilliant, and it makes more sense for him to teach students that would get much more out of him.
