to me that sounds like a market waiting to be developed: some enterprising (get it?) coder can cook up an IDE and compiler and target the XP market.

Yep, makes perfect sense: develop a cheap, cost-effective nuclear reactor design with someone who is a big competitor to the US, and who our children will most likely have to fight a war against. Yeah, perfect sense.

Gotta say - the whole breastfeeding-prevents-ovulation myth needs to be ended. I have two children 11 months apart, a third a year and a half after the second. All of my children were breastfed - and it didn't stop ovulation.

yeah, but you're presupposing that sexism is wrong. If it is wrong, why has it survived for so long? The problem is inherent in the human condition - we align ourselves with people who are like us, and build a community around our likenes
