Fun idea! I’ve worked in technical roles at agencies and DSPs (the tool brands use to buy programmatic ads), and currently work at a dsp. Here’s my two cents: Assuming it’s a good idea people will use, you’ll run into a couple issues: 1. To

I was on a (unofficial but agreed upon w leadership) sabbatical at the end of 2019/start of 2020 and was no longer there for me when I returned. I took a new role with a 40k pay cut so I could pay the bills. I resigned near the end-ish

Cities are where good spots were x years ago, where x is somewhere between 300 and 100. The world is different with transportation/etc and the good spots don't look the same. See the flood of people to small mountain towns during

As a no code but very technical person zapier is incredible. I’ve posted about it before but in the adtech world a lot of people are technical but don’t code and automate lots of tasks/integrations/alerts/ etc with zapier.

Your alternate headline implies global warming is on a trend towards cooler days, which we definitely do not want to imply as it’s not true.

Definitely not standard practice. There will always be bad actors, fraud, spam, etc, when so much money is involved. But most buy side systems are advanced enough to recognize bad actors and not spend money on them. So for any site/app

AppLovin will be caught in up in an ad fraud scandal within two years. I can't share the data but we've stopped spending any money through them due to obvious fraud. Previously we were spending ~20k/day with them. To be fair,

Photoshop of day is pretty much incomparable to 15 year old versions. The tools in in photoshop (let alone the rest of cc) are extremely advanced, complicated and likely the reason you’re looking for.

Users are “paid” in the sense that they use apps for free. App developers instead of charging a user a download fee, show users ads. You’re also taking industry words and using them in weird ways. Supply is available ad slots, demand is adv
