The example code I've seen from popular payment gateways is some of the worst code I've ever seen and that's usually the code the web developers start with. It's obvious the original authors of payment API examples has zero experience with

The front page you have now should be the help page. I think the front page ought to be just two big loud buttons: create a meeting or find a meeting (and small text "click here to learn how to use gutmeet").

1. Make IE 6, 7, and 8 fully standards compliant. Don't say it can't be done. MS puts out hotfixes all the time. It can be done. 2. Release all Windows development tools for free. Free as in free for commercial use too. Build all the Window

Cameras are to indie film makers as laptops are to web startups: important to have but not their biggest concern. Pro cameras can always be borrowed or rented if need be. The bigger concerns for an indie film are paying for a lighting crew,

There seems to have been the same level of hype over Facebook's apps and I haven't seen many Facebook app startups getting acquired by Facebook. Granted the Google App Engine is whole other level of app hosting but compared to the scale of

I take the 80/20 approach to supporting ie6: If 80% of the features and layout work well in ie6 and 20% not so well then that's acceptable. I have no interest in wasting time writing exceptions for a broken browser. True to their oblivious

Very cool. It's sort of Hot or Not for stocks. I would suggest showing just a small summary and graph of previous trade below the current total so you can get rid of the New Trade button and have the Buy/Skip/Sell buttons and chart for the

Syntax annoyances can be forgiven but for a language interpreter to call exit(1) when unable to allocate memory is really bad. It should instead return an error to the app and let the app keep running.
