I also think that just keeping the new grade is a valid retake scheme. Although it's less forgiving for the students, it encourages them to make absolutely certain that they know the content for the retake. Anything with a square root

Duo already has multiuser (8 or 12 max) support. It's intended to be a competitor to FaceTime. Meet is intended to be a competitor to Zoom. They're not getting combined anytime soon, even if Hangouts is going to die.

So ORD is probably just higher-capacity, which is why free plan users like me are getting routed to it?

Yeah, that is strange. I’m on Comcast. They’re probably just attempting to reroute traffic to higher-capacity links at the expense of latency.

No, I don't think so (and I'm also in Minnesota). I'm going to guess that the increased load is just pushing services over the edge. Edit: Also, interestingly enough, I am now reliably hitting Cloudflare's ORD (Chicago)

Git pushes are going really slow for me, but they do work after a few tries. If you normally use a credential cache and it's asking you for your password again, hit control-C and retry the operation. That seems to have gotten my last f

MonoGame implements the XNA API and lets you write games that run on Win32, UWP, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, Xbox One, PS4, PSVita, and Switch. That's probably the best cross-platform support of any game framework.

My bad with the poor communication up above. Turns out that we were basically in agreement the whole time. I'm impressed that it can handle the single-quote label thing; that strikes me as the exact sort of thing that I would think a t

We're talking about putting the closing brace on the same line of an expression, like this: int double(int x){ return x * 2;} instead of like this: int double(int x) { return x * 2; } In Lisp, you would write th

I think that C-like languages wouldn’t be able to handle putting closing braces on the same line because of the lack of Paredit-style editor support. In Lisp, it works well.

I get the feeling that it isn't the main Rust community that does that kind of thing. Most of the actual library authors and major Rust users I've interacted with and seen in the community seem to be very level-headed about it and
