As I understand it, macOS uses grayscale antialiasing by default, while Windows and Linux use subpixel hinting. To make up for the artificial thinning that occurs with grayscale antialiasing, it also uses something called "font smoothi

Yes. This is a huge cost for school districts, particularly since both G Suite and Microsoft 365 are free for schools and require practically zero admin time. There's no competition in terms of cost here.

Is it? Couldn't the backend (or even a human attacker) just type the credentials you provide into the real login page, giving you the "tap yes" push notification just the same?

Java mindshare has been dying for a long time. That said, it's still taught in schools and all sorts of companies still use it (including "cool" ones like Google and Apple).

Google takes licenses very seriously as well: https://opensource.google/docs/thirdparty/licenses/#wtfpl-no... They certainly have a lot of eyes on them, so any mistake with licenses could be very costly.

Where I live they don't want waxed cardboard (pizza boxes and similar) or aluminum foil, but everything else you mentioned is acceptable. It clearly depends on the municipality.

Yeah, this seems strange. I’ve seen the black heart symbol before (not an actual emoji), but never a real emoji. Does it work for me too? 🧐

Apple probably won’t make iMessage available outside of its own devices because it’s a major lock-in and network effect for iOS. Some people switch to iPhones simply because their friends won’t include them in an iMessage group chat or some

I’m in a similar situation to you. I use Google Docs as my primary office suite and occasionally switch to native Microsoft Office when I need to edit a complex or macro-covered Excel sheet. Google Docs is very convenient, free of frustrati
