The FriendlyCaptcha demo takes less than a second on my machine (i5-7400, RX 560). A c5a.2xlarge is far more powerful.

It feels like smartphones are stabilizing as well. I don't see myself needing to replace my iPhone 8 for a while, even though there have been three more generations afterwards. An iPhone 5 felt much more outdated at the time of the 6s&

Functionally, iOS is a much more secure platform. Far more people are updated to the latest iOS version, which makes a huge difference. Apple invests tons of money into secure biometrics, privacy initiatives, and lots more. At the same time

Zoho isn't Google-size, but it isn't irrelevant, either. Sending mail from a self-hosted email server is far harder since the big providers might put it in spam or drop it even earlier.

Is that a common issue? I've certainly heard about devices losing battery life and cameras progressively getting worse, but complete death is very uncommon unless you use it without a case and drop it all the time or something. I still

I think it's worth linking the 12.4.9 page because it's impressive that the software update is available going all the way back to the iPhone 5s. That's some serious longevity.

What incentive do they have to keep it open, though? People who already needed to read the source code (like security researchers) don't need the complete unobfuscated source in the first place. It would likely cost GitHub money in fri

The source code was never very private in the first place—it's easy to de-obfuscate it. More importantly, GitHub doesn't want to support and deal with open-sourcing their core. There's some amount of irony here considering th

Is the source code public? If not, do you have plans to make it open-source? I'm impressed at how fast you've been able to fix bugs and implement new features and I'd like to see how it works :)

Lots of iOS games already support gamepads and iOS has supported keyboards and mice for a while now. I'm guessing that developers will be able to support keyboard/mouse once and get it on the iPad and Apple Silicon Macs.
