A real branch would involve a jump instruction somewhere. With a branch, different code executes depending on the condition. With the code above, you get different data depending on the condition.

The kernel isn't trying to adhere to an open protocol. It's defining it's own to match ever evolving hardware. Ultimately it's about the client driving the protocol. We don't want that. It means there will be onl

I've been using the Nightly build as my daily browser for a couple years now. It's really good. I rarely need to open chrome for anything.

I've been getting about 4 hours a night for the last 5 years and feel fine. I used to swear by 8 hours, but as I've gotten older I just don't need as much.

I stop by the grocery store and grab cooked food from the deli counter. It takes about 5 minutes. I eat my food on paper plates, and workout in my room. I'm probably gaining 1.5 hours per day on you. It's more expensive this w

Pay them more. Isn't this why most junior devs leave? Because they are getting crap junior dev salaries? Once you've trained them they are no longer junior devs. The market certainly doesn't think so.

That's the only precaution. I thought about adding an air filter inside the enclosure but it's overkill. If it's 100% air sealed you don't smell anything while it's printing, and if the printer has finished printi

Yep even if it's hot enough it still needs the correct densities. It's akin to trying to compress a balloon with your hands. If enough 'hands' all push simultaneously it can work, but you can imagine the instabilities.

Once I got my homemade printer working, the first thing I did was build a 100% air sealed enclosure. Melted ABS stinks.

No networking it looks like. Whenever I see these dev boards (and I have dozens), I'm always tempted to just use a cell phone. Does your project need networking? A battery? A display? Bluetooth? Try cobbling together an arduino lik

How does that work in relativity where d = sqrt(x^2 + y^2 + z^2 - ct^2). If it is moving backwards in time, it seems the spacetime interval would point the other direction. It would also have to be moving faster than c. I'm basically

This reminds me of a product idea I had a while back - a sandboxed wifi router that plugs in to your existing router. When you setup your IoT devices, you point them to the sandbox. I figure this already exists, and nobody cares.
