I think that the shower just slows your brain down just enough to get into flow. I've found that walking and driving do the same for me as well.

I don't know much about shaders but this reminds me (in concept at least) of using OpenSCAD to use code to generate models for 3D printing. One cool puzzle to solve doing so is using different shapes to add or cut material from the exi

I ride motorcyles so found this quite interesting. Instead of a motion sensor, why not simply turn on the brakes whenever you down shift and leave it on until the throttle is engaged?

In the current moment, I agree that "the state" can't save money by making it free for everyone. However, it is a lot harder to quantify how much other savings are realized by having healthier kids and reduced healthcare cost

Agreed. This is the root of the rise of evil in our country. I'm mostly pissed that Democrats were so short sighted to not reinstate it during Clinton or Obama. Now it is too late.

We need to recognize the reason. It is about scale and cost. Pseudo-art and pseudo-writing can be done completely in the cloud and scale easily. Having a robot to fold even a single towel requires millions of physical robots instead of doze

Very true but how many people would pay the extra cost for vegetables outside the agricultural industrial complex? Most people want cheap and their fruits and vegetables year round, even if they are out of season. There is a major taste dif

Othering has driven a lot of the hate and derisiveness of the 21st century. A lot of the political messaging and advertising tends to specifically focus on othering.

We don't. We need only take a look at Detroit, holdout of American manufacturing. They have been automating and robotizing everything they can. ["... However, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis notes that motor vehicle manufact

Agreed. The black squares should turn white once a row AND column are correct. Otherwise, you just spend you time scanning right and down checking if that row/col is right again. It is tedium and not enjoyable.

These puzzles need to be handcrafted and a UI built. So they could hire other people to do it or hire the person who already has it done and start monetizing immediately.
