Lots of mushy domains still have aspects of their foundations that are amenable to deliberate practice. For software engineers, problem solving with math and leetcode style questions can be trained in a deliberate practice style, as well as

The circuit in my apartment that my wifi is on keeps flipping so my connection has been frustratingly intermittent. I've gotten more reading and cleaning done in the last week than I have in maybe years.

Profit motive. Industries don't sacrifice profits for the public good. Just look at the fossil fuel and tobacco industries. That's one of the primary reasons we have governments. To solve issues like this.

If someone replies within a few minutes with a link to a study, you can usually just assume it doesn't even support their point unless they're actually a researcher in the field. It takes way longer even for experts to read and di

Of course it is. It's pretty common for students to fail a course and pass it or even master it later. You just have to put in the work. Finding the right resources absolutely helps as well. As does shoring up your foundational prerequ

Isn't the point of quicksort that the randomization of the pivot selection means that you're extremely unlikely to run into a pathological case for the specific pivot chosen? And perhaps even more unlikely if you permute the input
