I think it's perfectly fine to assume that it's a form of extortion to profit from life-saving products, which is why some people agree that pharmaceuticals shouldn't be a for-profit industry at all.

Julia doesn't count because it wasn't named after a person. Even then, neither of those would fit the theme of the list above because they aren't named after their inventors (even though Ada is technically an eponym).

First, Soylent names their company after a famous product made out of humans. Then iRobot and now an aviation company named after the most famous dead aviator. Seems... not ideal.

Interesting. It sounds more like you're on the autism spectrum or have OCPD. Technically you can't be diagnosed with OCD if your behaviors aren't anxiety-driven and negatively affect your life.

It seems mostly harmless to do this for yourself, but I have no interest in it. I find that cataloguing and quantifying life takes all the joy out of it. If quantifying your life is actually negatively affecting you or people close to you,

So say you're mixed and move on. This is a bizarre question.

Millions of Americans identify as "mixed" and leave it at that. People don't discuss or act on race very often here, at least not overtly. You may be reading too much reddit or Twitter.

If it's still true that both generations are poorer, more stressed out, and more sedentary than previous generations, this seems like an expected outcome.

In what universe is Trump better for Tesla than Harris? Also, his views about trans people, minorities, and right-wing conspiracies are perfectly in line with Trump. They are at odds with advertisers, so this is clearly a stupid personal de

People who can see and read almost never use voice-only to shop. Restaurants and catalogs have menus. Street vendors show you their goods. You don't need to take my word for it. No one uses Alexa this way. The proof is in the outcome

Alexa shopping was intended to be voice only . Of course people order things with their voice after they've seen them or read a menu.

What's wrong with it is that it was a stupid idea. People don't shop with their voices and never have. They need to see things.
