Is CutePDF any better than PDFCreator? I've been using the latter for years; it does the same thing and works very well.

I still don't know what the issue with supporting multi-touch devices in North America is but I strongly suspect it's because of software patents. Anytime a corporate rep is asked why their device doesn't support it they hem and haw and say

It's not a "gentleman's agreement", it's promotional material. The porn sites themselves build the picture sets and if you have an affiliate account with them you see the available material (along with all the relevant html code that you ca

Are you somehow implying that a pay-wall can't be built? Porn sites seem to have figured it out quite a while ago so I don't see how NYTimes would be any different. Of course they aren't going to be able to stop people copy/pasting articles

It's a pretty good start but I would suggest doing the same as for new events with the bars and restaurants. When I clicked on the "are we missing" link, I expected a form where I could add one (either automatically or moderator-approved) b

If it's possible for somebody else to copy your invention without reverse-engineering your product, then you shouldn't be granted a patent. No, you should be awarded the patent. It's the person who reverse-engineered your invention and di

The difference is that valve's software has to have a build installed on the client's computer or worse, a disk you shove into a console. On the web, your releases update 100% of your client base instantly. Though I do agree that depending

What database did you plug Pentaho into? Like I said earlier I was thinking of using LucidDB but according to this benchmark: http://www.mysqlperformanceblog.com/2010/01/07/star-schema-b... it seems InfiniDB might be a better candidate.

But there's a big difference between asking those questions yourself because you care enough about them to remember what they are and just handing a sheet or reading from one that was clearly printed off the internet.

I've been looking into it a lot as well. It really depends what your BI is supposed to handle. Is it analytics with very wide but very flat tables that you don't join much (or at all)? Is it complex queries joining many tables together to r

The vast majority of jobs will give you food a roof and a bed. People start doing the jobs they don't want because they want a large house, two model-of-the-year cars (leased of course), the 40+ inch HD tv, etc etc etc. Doing what you love
