That isn't even true in California, any resident of California can use any Californian library, and receive a library card to it. Which leads to an ongoing feuds between neighboring cities when one chooses not to have public libraries

My four year old's soccer coach was leaving his organization, and I asked him if he was interested in doing private lessons in my neighborhood. He said he was, but he'd signed a non compete with the local children's soccer or

My proposal is that southwest allow people traveling in pairs to board before the C group, and require that they sit next to each other. On my last flight, I was traveling with a four year old, but my first flight arrived late, so we were t

The daycares my kids have gone to have all charged a moderate late fee, but said very explicitly that if you are habitually late, you will be kicked out of the daycare. One of the daycares at 5:30 would just take the kids with her on her ni

There was not a warning on the packaging. I am glad you are a perfect parent, it is very lucky for you and your children. Congratulations!

Grandpa bought some similar powerful magnets in the Grand Canyon gift shop and gave them to my two year old when I wasn't looking. So sure, he and I were both being negligent. But it also seems like a dangerous set up.

If you want magnet toys that feel more like legos, check out magformers, magnatiles or tegu. I think magformers are the best toy we own.

I am super happy with my MacBook Air for my laptop. I only do light development on it. I use an iMac + external monitor for real development, but I would really love if Apple just made a normal desktop, so I could choose the two monitors I

I'm guessing you don't have kids. I used to work whenever I wanted, but now my kids have childcare from 8-5:30, and that is when I work.

Anecdote. I bought a dinosaur costume for my toddler son for Halloween, they sent me the wrong size but I didn't notice until Halloween, it sort of worked anyway. Later they hounded me for a review. After five or so requests, I replied

So this happens to me all the time. I'm pretty sure they deliver it to my neighbors, and two days later a neighbor puts it on my porch.

It is extremely unlikely that you will get pregnant again if your baby is under 6 months, your period has not returned, you are exclusively breastfeeding, and you do not go more than 6 hours between feedings. Once any of those things change

Yes, I traveled alone with a 1 year old and 2 year old once, and at one airport it was logistically impossible for me to go to the bathroom.

I'd be interested in ratings for layover airports. The flight experience is pretty similar. But layover airports with a little playground for the kids are a huge bonus for me.

It is just internalized for me enough so that we usually make another choice for dinner. Also I don't really want the kids to go to preschool and say they had McDonalds for dinner, at about the same level that I don't want to send

I'm not sure we've eaten at any other fast food restaurants with them! McDonald's tends to be very convenient on road trips. In general, though they're adventurous eaters at home, they don't eat well in restaurants

Maybe twice a month. We typically stop there only when traveling now. We might stroll to the one a half mile from our house for dinner once in awhile otherwise. McDonald's isn't a large part of our mostly wholesome diet. I feel go
