Most of Apple's announcements today featured AI but the term wasn't explicitly mentioned. I think the last portion of the keynote that focused on AI was merely for investors tbh

Totally unrelated to the content of your post but labeling posts with "I'm [a teenager] and X" has always irked me. It either serves to undermine the content (older people immediately questioning the authority of a teenager)

If we assume a quarter is 3 months, then there are 60 work days in a quarter. 39/60 is 65% in office. That basically means Dell employees have to be in office 4 out of 5 times a week with a little leeway here and there.

You’re calling $3,600 worth of GPUs “quite common for hobbyist use” and then comparing an iPad to a $40,000 AI-centric GPU.

You wouldn’t necessarily get twice the battery life. It could be less than that due to the thinner body causing more heat, a screen that utilizes more energy, etc

The Supercharger program is arguably Tesla's most valuable asset, though. Arguing that they're "under preforming" and therefore deserved a mass firing is unbelievably shortsighted. Without the Supercharger network (that

I'd guess he's right. No one outside of Apple knows more about the inner-workings of the M series than Hector. For those that don't know, he's the main contributor and lead of Asahi Linux.

Honest answer: it's where my friend group's group chat lives. I miss a lot of conversation if I'm not in it. To be fair, I've blocked 235k+ Blue accounts so my experience is actually a lot better than most users.

Agreed but this isn't the same as an open source library; it costs A LOT of money to constantly train these models. That money has to come from somewhere, unfortunately.
