Neat to see more folks writing blogs on their experiences. This however does seem like it's an over-complicated method of building llama.cpp. Assuming you want to do this iteratively (at least for the first time) should only need to ru

I couldn't see anything that made it especially cloud native, it doesn't rely on any cloud services - it's just a bunch of containers.

What's the Firefox compatibility looking like now? Pretty annoying when websites that use it tell you to download and install google chrome.

One idea I had was if there was an optional dashboard overview across all the repos it's enabled on where users could directly trigger / interact with specific PRs or issues - that would be neat. Oh something else great it has - y

Commenting on PRs with suggested improvements is a big win to reduce the context switching senior engineers face reviewing junior developers PRs all day, giving a review complexity rating that can be used to route PRs to the right people is

It looked neat but relies on a cloud db called 'TIDB', I checked its repo out and it looks like you can self host that as well but damn - it's a lot of containers. So yeah looks like self hosting is an option but likely a pai

I'm not European and if I don't have uBlock origin enabled I waste a lot of time clicking them as well, it impacts the whole world not just Europe.

Hello. A few questions: - Where is the source code? This is critical for it to be inspected before adding to any repos. - What models are you using? - Where are the models running? - When you say it learns from your codebase is it building

I thought the guy I was speaking mentioned something about instrumentation but I wasn't 100% sure and that sounded more serious so didn't mention it - but if the aux engine failing would do that - I guess that lines up!

I was speaking with a 787 pilot last Sunday, I told him that the week before when I was at an airport there were two pilots sitting next to me talking about how "This is the third bloody 787 rescue we've had this month... I can&#x

90% of our customers do not allow this due to data sovereignty. Bedrock here is lagging so far behind several customers assume AWS simply aren't investing here anymore - or if they are it's an afterthought - and a very expensive o

I wonder when it'll actually be available in the Bedrock AU region, because as of right now we're still stuck using mid-range models from a year ago. Amazon has really neglected ap-southeast-2 when it comes to LLMs.

It may not, but it also disgusts me how much sun we have and how willing we are to see our power off when so much of the country is powered by coal, oil and gas.

Interesting! May I ask what area you lived in (not due to the power distributor, but the age of the infrastructure in the area). The areas I've had issues are Brunswick, Thornbury and Footscray. Folks at work (we're a bit spread o

We really do, they're very common here in Melbourne. Most summers we experience brown outs / load shedding and throughout the year the grid here struggles with changes in load (dimming lights, short-lived UPS activation etc...).

Meanwhile in Australia we suffer frequent brown outs year round and rolling outages in the summer because the majority of the power generated and made available to people is from coal and other unclean sources. https://www.iea.or
