I don't understand why you'd have notifications enabled for any app that you don't need them from?

Draw things is neat but it's so damn slow compared to other tools (e.g. invokeai), I'm not sure why it takes so long to generate images with any model?

Couldn't agree more, the overhead of context switching in-person is also so painfully expensive.

Is the source code available somewhere? I really like the app but feel a bit odd about running something with this much access that isn't open source.

Come join us on Reddit’s /r/localllama. Great community for local LLMs.

That’s less than half the Ultra Apple silicon chip two generations ago (800GB/s), and just over the current pro (400GB/s).

I _really_ like this idea. Is the source code available somewhere?

Looks interesting, great to see it specifically calls out supporting LLM servers as first class citizens! I see some of the code is Java, that strikes me as an interesting choice - is there a reason behind that or simply the language that t

I've got this after updating to Sequoia today as well, weird behaviour as Firefox network traffic will randomly stop working for a few minutes, then work again.

I don't know how true it is I've heard that the ratio of managers to engineers has been increasing over the last few years, if that's true this policy lines up with what we've seen from management-heavy / inverted t

This is a similar tool I wrote for myself called "ingest". It ingests files/directories to LLM friendly markdown, estimates token usage, and can estimate vRAM usage for different models and quantisations and shows you a table

I'm a little disappointed they all only have 8GB of RAM, I would have thought that with the world of AI we're all living in now we'd get at least 12GB for our $1850-$2850.

Is there a "nice" way to read content on Arxiv? Every time I land on that site I'm so confused / lost in it's interface (or lack there of) I usually end up leaving without getting to the content.
