To be honest I think this article is making a lot off nothing. TL;DR: New models, higher prices. Keep the old models just in case someone is super price sensitive. It's not rocket science is it.

No one is saying that we should tax corporations based on how much their pay roll is. What we're saying is that the scale of those two numbers shows how ridiculously inadequate the current corporation tax laws are. Do you really think

I'm kind of conflicted about this. On the one hand I would've thought it were obvious to anyone that a private corporation shouldn't be compelled to conduct business with any other business. But on the other hand domain name

I think the obvious point is that whilst what photoshop does is very complex and computationally intensive, it's not new. The vast majority of the functionality in an average photoshop file is the same as was in the product 15 years ag

The Intel OpenCL SDK will allow you to get designs from code to running in hardware with no HDL. The problems you'll face won't be HDL related, they'll be crappy toolchain related. Having said that, if you don't know wha

Hi, professional FPGA developer here. A couple of things I would advise: Firstly, development kits are great - they provide the hardware you need and all of the IP to drive that hardware. Grab a dev kit - there are lot's of other posts

Your number 2 scenario is dead wrong. The reason the person is in that scenario in the first place is because they mis-judged the payoff from having the first degree. The likelihood they misjudge the second degree is just as high. In fact l

The problem I've always had with FFTs is that it's incredibly difficult to write an optimal FFT for X size, Y direction, Z variability (X=2^4-2^64, Y=FWD,REV,BIDIR, Z=2^4-2^(log2(X))) Does the metaprogramming element of FFTW work
