I like Apples devices, but aren't they just as vulnerable to CPU bugs? There's plenty of good reasons to use an iOS device (and some good reasons to avoid one), but I wouldn't think that CPU bug would be a particularly strong

Fair enough, I suppose it depends on how broad your categories are. Personally, I absolutely consider YouTube a video-based social network. You follow people/brands, have at timeline, can contribute comments on what they post, etc. It

From https://www.omnicoreagency.com/tiktok-statistics/ > 41 percent of TikTok users are aged between 16 and 24. That seems rather youth-heavy when compared to Facebook (Timeline), Twitter, YouTube, Instagram. Nothin

I think it's a clever play. It would help address the spyware concern by moving it to a US company, and give them a better foothold in Social Networking than Linked-in provides. I'd have a few concerns about if MS can keep it grow

It seems to me like they're saying "Commercial development for LibreOffice is at serious risk". It may be that all commercially supported development on LibreOffice stops- I'm not sure this would be a terrible thing at t

Unless your app is designed for browsing Facebook, there's no reason that anything on Facebook's servers should affect if your app works. Many of the apps crashing are using Facebook for a portion of their app, such as one login o

I think the main point of this feature is that it breaks the video out from a window in the existing page. I can then interact with that video separately from the page. I can scroll around on the page, I can open other links. It decouples t

One thought that I had seen elsewhere on this subject really stood out to me. When these phrases are being replaced, their replacements are almost always more descriptive terms for that specific project, and the way those servers interact.

As much as you and I may care about that, for many (most?) people the browser chrome is the most important part. Syncing bookmarks, UI, tab handling etc tend to be bigger pain points for individuals, as opposed to the more dev-focused aspec
