I've been using this for a few years now and love it. I wish for two things. 1) i wish there was a way to automatically delete cookies/cache/history from specific containers every time. My personal container needs cookies and

h2odragon in 1890: People concern for "Germs" lately has me wondering how in the world humanity survived to this point, in utter ignorance of the horrid damage everything they could touch was doing to them. Perhaps we should wash

Anyone have the 'long form' of this to read? Twitter is such a terrible way to read long content. Aside: I really enjoyed Taibbi's few books, but haven't respected his online opinions since around 2016. I'm not surp

Do you worry about the battery being a fire hazard? But I do agree: run pi-hole as vm/dockers on some home server.

Exactly the quote that caught my guard. I don't really shop with amazon, because two things: 1) the rune goldberg machine of suffering of amazon laborers and, more selfishly: 2) everything is so cheap, that it's useless. I would r

I recommend checking out https://80000hours.org/ -- it may not matter what you do day to day, as much as it matters why you do it and what it effects outside of your life.

I'm halfway through CS50P[1] which was just made this year, and it's one of the best courses I've ever taken (online for free or even at my real university). [1] https://cs50.harvard.edu/python/2022/

I suppose you could argue sentience is subjective. But then that argument ends up extending to us eating babies -- at least, as Peter Singer taught us, right?

At $45 per month, you must only be interested in helping affluent people in HCOL cities. Otherwise, that's a truly baffling out of touch price point, especially for an app which requires little interaction with individual paying users

I'm not sure why it is 'virtually certain'. It seems very likely to me that a company, which takes payments as a funding model, could exist with end 2 end and be a legitimate business. Do you have any source at all to back a

I don't follow your logic here. Why can't a company legitimately focus on a niche sub set of users who value privacy in their products? I'm thinking of products like protonmail, standard notes, and signal.
