Oh wow, the MNT is surprisingly cool. It reminds me of the Apple PowerBook 170 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PowerBook_170 ) I had in the early 90s. I loved the trackball on those early PowerBooks.

I have the Unifi Protect doorbell and like it a lot. But the big decision point is whether you want to get stuck in the Unifi Protect walled garden. A lot of people understandably don't want that. Back in the days of Unifi Video, you c

I use magnetic tear away cables for a lot of my gear. They have magnetic tips for lightning, USB-micro and USB-C. For stuff like charging headphones, LED lights and other random gadgets with mixed plug types, I use charge-only cables for th

Well, if you're even remotely attached to iOS ecosystem (which I think many iPhone owners are), you're unlikely to switch to another brand of phone. Which means you're stuck with the notch, and you need to learn to accept it.

I think what's happening here is "if you're going to give me 75 cents, you may as well have given me the full dollar". For most people, that notch tradeoff is fine, but there will be a segment of people who care more abo

Lotus Notes, if you look past it having one of the ugliest UIs ever made, was a pretty neat tool. When I look at a tool like Notion, I see it as what Notes should have become. I worked in a Notes/Domino shop pre-2000, and after some &q

If your manager is clueless, doesn't it mean that the person who hired the manager (presumably the manager's manager) is clueless too? That would strike me as the larger problem, since the manager role is likely going to be filled
