You don't need a tool for this. If you store base data in one schema, and functions/views in another, you can update this second schema willy nilly without worrying about damaging your data. Just start the second file with DROP SC

I stand corrected! Edit: However, the reference states "At this time (May 2016), there aren't any available open-source and free systems that have all the features listed above". Greenplum does actually implement all of thes

Actually, the benchmarks aren't against alternative columnstore DBs, which would really put proof on their claims. Would love to see a comparison with Greenplum or Redshift. For those who haven't worked with them before, columnsto

Having just spent 8 months in Sweden, I can assure you that their Socialism is purely 'children's creche' socialism, and not 'free bread' socialism. There are some goods that have positive externalities and high fix

You know, if you wanted to write a book, you could set up a Patreon with a per-chapter benefit. Perhaps write the introduction for free, setting out your goals for the book. I'd chip in. Even if the material is already 'covered&#x

What are the incentives at play here? Is it mandated that buildings need carparks, or is space genuinely so plentiful that this is economic? I can't imagine a carpark-sized area of office space goes for $10/day, even after the cos
