Thanks for the feedback. For the one-time server enrollment process, would you be more comfortable having us set up a limited account using a script we provide? We were thinking that there's not necessarily a whole lot of difference between

Hi, one of the creators here. We build this because we run our own machines and wanted a easier way to manage our OS user accounts and SSH keys across machines. We put together a beta service to do just that, and would love to hear what you

I hope that the defenders of the legal theories that allow people to be held without trial for many years get their fair share of the blame. Gitmo itself is bad, but the legal theories that let almost anyone be held there without due proces

I wonder if any research has been done on what the effect on median income would be of distributing jobs that don't require physical presence away from boom towns. Intuitively, it feels like boom towns are price-inflated, and that letting l

I disagree that socialism is democratic by its very definition. The definition usually includes ownership and operation of the means of production by the 'community' or by the 'state.' But both the community and state have leaders (except i

You're quite correct about them raising their prices, but then again, healthcare is competitively purchased only the loosest and least meaningful way. There really aren't strong competitive forces emanating from the demand side - it's more

Milton Friedman also advocated a universal minimum income. The thing is, he advocates a minimum income , not a minimum set of social services. There's a huge difference in the economics between goods or services that are (ideally) competit
