I love Newsify on iOS. With a yearly subscription, it pulls full text articles (stripping adverts) of all RSS subscriptions for offline reading, and displays them (graphic+snippet) somewhat like a newspaper on screen. It has settings to a

For .0 releases they’re furiously coding against a daunting fixed deadline. For .0.1 warranty releases, lingering showstoppers. The .1 releases get all the care. If I were smart, I’d wait around for dot-ones and eat my broccoli.

I have a 6s 128gb. It was was fast on the latest iOS 10, was acceptable on iOS 11.0, but on iOS 11.1 (currently beta4), it seems as fast as, if not faster than, ever. I think I could happily wait until next year to upgrade, even though I

I would suggest it's probably a matter of time, rather than any judgement of infeasibility. Apple uses an iterative 80/20 rule approach to functionality. Podcasts didn't make the cut, because more people listen to music, an

Well, perhaps stupid in that calling them conspiracy theories is a mark of ignornace, when they'd be better termed as uncontested and easily supported public facts, or something.

When I was a teenager, I wrote a connect four game, and my brother would play it. Every time he'd win, I'd jump back into the code. I realized it was a fruitless cat and mouse (not only because the game is trivial) but because of

"The future is the hardest thing to predict." I just made that up, AFAIK, but I wrapped it in quotes to encourage reuse. ;) "The future is fickle." Seems on point as well. If I close my eyes and imagine the future, all

Perhaps I was too flippant. Point being, the “public availability/replicability” of the biometric would seem correlated to the point on the username->password continuum. This will probably matter less once our future devices can in

I don't know that that's true. I'm by no means, even remotely, an expert. But it sounds like you've got a "hidden variables" take on it; that you're suggesting the probability wave is our statistical pre

Isn't collapse of the probability wave instantaneous across the arbitrary distance between entangled particles, from the frame of the measurement, in violation of relativity, and isn't that what Einstein disliked?

I guess it was the decrypted arm64 kernelcache that was discussed elsewhere on the net on the second day of WWDC, a week ago. So, perhaps this is stale news to those in-the-know. Interestingly, only the 64 bit ipsw was left unencrypted, no
