Its a shame, regulated pipes is starting to look like the most reasonable solution when providers are doing exactly what you said, eyeing up higher margin models and drooling. Regardless of opinions on free market, political leanings, etc,

Yeah I've heard/seen this as well, they've done it in favor of expanding LTE coverage [0] I'm astounded at how anyone at VZ thinks this could be a good idea. [0] http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/Ve

Yes. This. Having had FiOS before is the worst part, knowing first-hand just how subpar my TWC service is (there's no going back after getting 35mbps upload speeds). It seems completely ridiculous to me that in 2014 Brooklyn we'

JAI was real bad.. JMF (Java Media Framework) was another one, which for a while had the unfortunate distinction of being the only reliable way of playing video on top of being poorly documented and turning into abandonware.

OS X has had OpenCOLLADA built into QuickLook (as well as Preview) for a few years now. That said, it can still be fussy with many scenes.

This is great, thanks for releasing it! Besides the UX issue of not being able to return from an empty grammar, a few small things I've noticed: * Is there a reason for leaving empty padding around the bounds of the generated PNG'

Or perhaps they've seen the relative age of fans while on tour and decided that introducing their music to a newer generation could allow them to keep performing and making a living.

I agree generally that there can always be more. The big difference to me is that in putting the product first, Apple is ensuring that they'll remain in a position to continue doing this. The trend is in the right direction though, th

While I understand how you arrive at the conclusion that the iPhone made the game all about app counts, I can't see how that stands up to Android coming along and ending up with a way larger selection. Even though it started as the bi

It sounds like they go to court on your behalf.. If that's the case, then it makes financial sense for most to stay at work for the 1-2 hours and have someone else fight it. I'm not sure this would ever make sense if you'r

I just did some comparisons, it is indeed cheaper than a MBA in similar configuration. In terms of price, the 13" retina MBP is a way better deal than both the Dell and the Air.

Ah sure, amending commits doesn't work once you've pushed it to a remote branch though (IIRC). Though this distinction is one of the things brought up in that email, that hg treats it all as one history. That is kind of nice.

Yeah I was disappointed to see this.. Can you configure pgpool externally to talk to the replicas or are those multi-az instances a black box? I've never used RDS before so I'm curious as to how much flexibility is afforded.
