do you have science to back this claim ? It’s not like the vaccine was designed specifically against omicron, the vaccine development started a long time ago ( before omicron)

how would you feel if the government decided to give you a vaccine card if you get a positive antibody test instead of getting the vaccine? Would requiring to show this card be acceptable? I’m on your side (natural anti body is as good as v

You say it is rare that people need serializable. But I would say majority of code that handle money need to use explicit lock or serializable otherwise they can easily be exploited by hacker to get thing for free.

What is your definition of mandate? Im also anti-mandate but certain job should require you to wash your hands with soap and be vaccinated to keep your job (teacher, nurse, doctor ..) but nobody is forcing you to choose those jobs.

it’s a good idea to assume server will fail (power supply, hard drive, network card) because we you use 3k of them they do. But it’s a not a good excuse to be wasteful! which is why I like that Rust and Go are getting more popular

I think he mean is less popular (like zstandard and lz4) compared to zlib and LZMA and BZip2. this is unfortunate because Brotli and Zstandard compress much better than zLib and LZ4 and decompress much faster than zlib lzma and LZ4
