From what I read on Wikipedia, Madoff didn't make a single investment with the money given to his wealth management program. He deposited it all into a bank account and paid people out of the same bank account. This is notably differen

I don't know if this is the right time for you to hear this, but don't establish your identity around things that you haven't done. Or fine, do it, but once you have done them, you'll immediately realize how dumb it was

How does your second paragraph ("they design") not directly fly in the face of your first ("mistake this for an active, purposeful goal")?

I'll provide a weak counterpoint. Yes, if a student claims in good faith that they need to use the bathroom, there is no excuse for not letting them go. However, expecting students (some of them) to behave in good faith is silly. Stude

How would multiplayer work with the turn-based aspect? Do you have to wait for other players to take their turns? This would be terribly boring IMO. Do you instead allow anyone to take a turn whenever? That turns the game into an RTS. I

For the 8080 emulator, you need the c_basic.bin (renamed to just "C") and c_bios.bin to be in the same directory as the executable, as per the article. I tried this and it dumps me into a BASIC shell. So cool!

I'm not going to be able to convince you that what Israel is doing post 10/7 is wrong (nor can I even convince myself entirely). But what I do know is (was) wrong was the attempt to found an ethnostate in the center of a political

The phrase "best-efforts to avoid non-combatant deaths" is _extremely_ load-bearing in your post. Israel is locked into a multigenerational existential conflict with people who utterly hate their guts for just existing. Similar fe

The continued existence of Israel in the Middle East is like fire underwater. Without a serious continous injection of energy, it'll die out instantly. Everything I've read hints that the Arabs will wipe them out completely if the

That chart does abysmally little to support your claim, for a few reasons. 1) How many of those people in the green live on less than $5 a day? $1.90 per day is an absurd and arbitrary limit which feels cherry picked to make a Pinker-esque
