Without evidence, I would also imagine that the poorest workers are most hurt by wage theft, and not equally "benefited" by theft/embezzlement.

The font rendering is one of the main things that keeps me on Mac. On Linux the font rendering is either far too thin or far too thick, no matter which setting I fiddle with. I don't have the greatest eyes and bleh font rendering is hu

Go is the same. Everyone, including the stdlib maintainers seem to think a few lines of comments per method is the same as documentation on how to use the package, best practices, pitfalls, etc.

Poetry is still rough around the edges but I think the core experience is great and it's well on its way to be a very popular tool. Before using it at work, we are waiting on waiting on https://github.com/python-poetry&

MS Office apps have always been (possibly intentionally?) horrifically bad on Mac. Not a great benchmark IMO. The average Joe user just uses a browser and something like Spotify. Even most word processing by college students is in Google Do

Ah that is great to see! Was the motivation about Yelp's practices or UX, or both? Also is TripAdvisor the long-term plan or a stop-gap until a better 3rd party provider matures or something homegrown catches on?

It is really a shame to me that DuckDuckGo uses Yelp reviews in their search results. I understand they want to use a common review provider that's not Google, but Yelp is just so antithetical to the stated values of DDG

Same, the only issue with the current air for me is that the graphics struggle a bit when driving a large 4K monitor. If the new graphics capabilities are that much better I would be very tempted to upgrade

True, and it is nice to have the capabilities in the stdlib. I just don't like the hierarchy setup, poor docs, and lack of errors/warnings when you get it wrong. I guess I am just used to Python where there are 1-2 all-star 3rd p

I have really been enjoying Go, except for the built-in templating library. It's a wart on the standard library IMO. The template declaration and invocation hierarchy seems unnecessarily complex and is almost 100% undocumented. It just
