If your app only works in Webkit / Blink, you've written a Chrome App and not a Web App. Your CUSTOMERS do not want to see "To use this site / app, stop using the web browser you've chosen to use (or your company ha

Definitely having timeout issues on the OP link. Your €3/month hosting from blacknight.com isn't holding up to the HN load, apparently :) Thank you for the github link. Mods can we get OP link adjusted to the github link instead

The skepticism is right. The person leading the charge for "but but Telegram rolled their own crypto, so you shouldn't use it" is actually one of the developers of Signal. Not a single working proof of concept attack on tele

Out of curiosity, why don't you like Mozilla? In my opinion they're the only ones left pushing for an open & standards-based web. Certainly not Google with their hard push to make developers make Chrome Apps instead of web ap

One thing that I didn't see mentioned here that I'd like to point out (again) is that the Ubuntu on Windows stuff is CLIENT ONLY aimed at developers. Microsoft has said that they have no plans to push it to / support it on th

This is a rather naive view. AWS and Azure provide A LOT more than just VMs/containers (EC2) as a service. Just having Docker won't give you the same that you can get from AWS RDS, S3, Glacier, Redshift, Route 53, etc.

RC2 was actually released 15 days ago. The main emphasis of this build has been the port from VB.NET to C# and is done by a new team of developers / maintainers. Pretty nice project! Glad it's not dead.

I apologize, but there's only so much you can do in 80 character titles. It was not my intention to be unclear. When you: * Move all of your developers / resources from Project A to Project B * On the page for Project A you state
